MSCI 321 Atmospheric Science - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): A grade of ‘C’ or better in PHYS 211
Corequisite(s): MSCI 321L
An introduction to the fundamentals of atmospheric physics, meteorology, and climatology. All scales of atmospheric phenomena are examined from the global circulation to hurricanes. Emphasis is placed on current concerns such as ozone depletion, acid rain, and global warming. Three lecture hours per week.
