MUS 454 Musical Performance and Analysis - 3 credits

This course is designed to study the relationship between musical performance and the theoretical analysis and historical context of the works performed. Emphasis will be placed on how a deeper examination of a musical work influences and informs the interpretive choices, and can aid in memory and confidence in performance.
