ARA 120 Beginning Arabic II - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): ARA 110
This course continues the development of basic communicative language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Modern Standard Arabic with attention given to deviations and intelligibility between Modern Standard Arabic and various Arabic dialects. The course examines specific aspects of the culture, society, and language of Arabic-speaking nations.
