ARTS 262 Digital Photography I - 3 credits This course focuses on digital photography’s creative applications introducing methods for digital image capture, introductory postproduction workflow strategies, and inkjet printing. The use of color is emphasized as students investigate color as a conceptual/compositional tool. Assignments are designed to allow students to investigate themes within contemporary photography practices. The development of visual literacy and critical awareness is promoted through class lectures, reading discussions, and critiques. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
