COMM 362 Enticing Signs: The Semiotics of Advertisements - 3 credits A study of signs, sign systems, and the production of meaning in advertising messages from the perspective of the field of semiotics. A vast array of advertisements influences and affect our lives in many ways. Looks at various aspects of this form of discourse from the standpoint of semiotic analysis and related conceptual frameworks.
