ARTS 225 Introduction to Ceramics: Casting, Mold Making, and Design - 3 credits Prerequisite(s): ARTS 104 or permission of the instructor An introductory course to explore ceramic processes involved with casting, mold making, and design. Concentration is on the use of clay, plaster, and supporting materials to produce functional wares, decorative objects, and sculptural forms. Experiences include decorating techniques, glazing, and kiln firing technologies. Semester(s) Offered: Spring
