HIST 319 The Cold War - 3 credits

This course examines the origins and evolution of the conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union through the post-World War II agreements, containment, détente, and the ‘New’ Cold war of the 1980s, and how this ideological rivalry impacted, and continues to impact, the rest of the world.
