Collections of Greco-Roman cultural artifacts introduce each disciplinary field, yielding relevant and useful vocabulary terms, methods for activating prior knowledge in the classroom and in oneself, as well as discoveries about ancient practices, beliefs, and values, especially pertaining to schooling and education, which have survived and still thrive in American schools and society today.
