ARTS 362 Digital Photography II: The Constructed Image - 3 credits Prerequisite(s): ARTS 262 This course continues the investigation of contemporary photographic techniques relating to color in a digital environment. The course introduces technical aspects of studio lighting, image manipulation techniques, and large-format printing. The focus on research-driven slideshows is to showcase concepts within contemporary photography, including staged image-making practices. While there are high expectations for technical prowess in this course, an equal emphasis is placed on the final concepts and ideas in the student’s photographs.
